Sucking on the Blogging Front!!
Man have I been sucking with the blog lately!! Oh well here goes it!! Yesterday I did Rockin' Body Party Express and Hip Hop Abs Total Body Burn!! FUN FUN FUN!! I <3 Cardio so much. I need to be more consistent with P90x but because of my schedule being so busy...well mostly with so much work for school, I always choose cardio over P90x because of my want to shed fat being greater than my want or need to gain more muscle. It will all even out in the end I am sure. :)

Stupid Scale!!
I feel soooooo good lately!! I wake up and it feels like everyday I feel thinner and thinner. I have had an added boost of confidence and just have been feeling happier lately.
The only thing that I am mad about is that my stupid scale is broken. When the toilet flooded my apartment it ruined my digital scale, so now I have to get a new one. I haven't been able to weigh myself for weeks now and I am curious as to what it will say when I do!!!

P90x Blues - Week 1/Day 6
Now that I have been doing Hip Hop Abs and Rockin' Body it has been harder to get excited about restarting P90x. The cardio programs have made me feel great!! They make me excited, they get me smiling, they make me sweat, I am finally losing weight...they have done so much for me that when I turn on P90x now, I just feel like I want to be doing the other videos. LOL.
Oh well.
I still need weight training so I am doing P90x, I just hope that I get more results from it so I can be happy about that too. It's just that P90x is not fun. After doing all these fun workouts its so unmotivating to do P90x. I think also because I have gotten more results doing cardio and my half version of P90x then I did just doing P90x.
if that makes any sense.
I am going to stick it out for the 90 days then modify it to suit my fun factor. I think plyo and shoulders and arms are the only fun workouts for me. :)
Oh well.

Restart - DAY 3
SHOULDERS & ARMS / AB RIPPER X
WOW!! Ok so I think everyone knows that Shoulder & Arms is my fave workout!! It makes me feel sooooo strong and I just love how my arms feel afterwards. My shoulders have always been on the bigger side and they tone up pretty fast so I love that!! Niiiice.
But by the time I got to ab ripper today I was exhausted!! I have know idea why!! I think its the new thing I am doing where I mute Tony and just listen to my Ipod!! Man, I am jamming in between sets!! A song comes on that I like and I just start dancing!! I guess thats more calories burned. LOL.
HAHA.
Anyway I am sooooo happy to be doing ALL of P90x now!!

Sooooo in my YT video I said I was going to start the P90x countdown over again on Monday but since I realized that I did the Chest & Back workout the other day, I just continued with Plyo today.
Whew. I haven't been able to do Plyo at all since my knee injury and today I go to do it. I almost forgot all the crazy stuff thats in there!! It was fun but my knee started getting a little tweaky towards the end so I modified and finished it up. My knee feels fine now.
I think I am going to go do a Rockin' Body dance video because I have been wanting to dance all damn day!! I was even dancing in between Plyo exercises!! LOL.
I have also tried a new thing where I put on my Ipod, and just watch the P90x videos because I can't stand Tony. I can't even stand hearing his voice anymore. He's such a show off TOOL! It makes me angry! Grrrrr...so now I just de-tony-ize P90x!!

Safe Ex Habits...
So, have you ever had that one ex that just made your skin hot and sweaty? That one guy [or girl] that no matter what you did you were always sooo turned on by them. Whether they were watching TV, out on the town, dressed up, dressed down, sleeping, or what not, they always seemed to draw you in??
I had one of those. I even thought for a moment that he was my muse [photographically speaking]. I thought he was the sexiest guy ever. It wasn't anything he did, he never HAD to do anything. All he had to do was just sit there, and I wanted him. It was amazing to be around someone that makes you feel like that, but lately I have been checking up on him and his new GF. Just glancing at myspace photos, no stalking involved [note title of blog]. :)
I know I know.
Shouldn't follow up on exes. lol. Well anyway I see photos of him and his new girl and it seems as though hes gone totally downhill. When him and I were together he was smokin' hot. I even loved the way he dominated my mirrors to get his hair just so!! Oooooh that hair!! Sexy. Anyway. Now I haven't seen a pic where he's even done his hair. He used to not leave home without some sort of product for it. He also has gained about 40 lbs. Not to say that I am shallow or what not. He's always been a bigger guy and I love that. But when we were together his chest, shoulders, and arms we so developed and just nice. He always wanted to hit the gym and always wanted to look good when I was around him. I just don't understand where this lack of care for his appearance is coming in.
I think it is the new chick. She doesn't seem to have much care for her outwardly appearance so does this rub off on people?? Maybe because I was always so put together, and looked so nice when we were together that he felt the need to do the same? I don't know, but I miss seeing photos of that hot, sexy, man that I was so head over heels for.
Is he gone forever?

Don't Worry...
I AM STILL HERE WORKING OUT!! I lost my internet connection for a few days, that was rough. I live online. LOL.
Anyway I have been doing Rockin' Body more faithfully and have been feeling really good. I love the cardio. I think its what I really need right now.
I am NOT giving up on P90x, as I am still incorporating it into my hip hop abs and Rockin' Body workouts. :) I do need strength training just maybe not so much as P90x gives you. I am going to try to lose the fat first then I will do P90x all out to finish up sculpting what I need.

Rockin' Body is soooo much fun!! I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants cardio that is different. I hardly notice that I am working out because I am focused on learning the moves and dancing. When I wake up in the morning I have been sore!! It's great. You sweat and there are some cute cute people on the videos. :)

When I was doing these I didn't even feel like I was working out, I guess I just like to dance! It's so fun and I am addicted to Shaun T, he isn't annoying like most workout people on videos!! He is fun, and has a ton of energy. Oh and obviously he has a body that you wouldn't mind staring at all day long.

UPDATE
So I graduated today...errrr walked. I am actually done in December but my school is on quarters and only does 1 graduation per year. It was fun. My parents came and that was awesome. Tomorrow we are going sightseeing and such.
My knee is still sore when I walk, I have no idea why it's still like that!! Grrr. I am finishing up a couple of projects then im done with the quarter. uugghh. I am going to concentrate on trying to do as much working out [and photography] as I can this break so we will see how that goes. Super.

Updates on the workouts!!
Ok so last night I did...
1. Hip Hop Abs - Fat Burning Cardio
2. Rockin' Body - Mark, Move, and Groove
3. P90x - Chest/Shoulders/Triceps & Ab Ripper X
(yes, I did these in a row)
Tonight I did...
1. Hip Hop Abs - Secrets to Flat Abs
2. Hip Hop Abs - Fat Burning Cardio
3. Rockin' Body - Party Express
(in a row like last night)
Yeah it may seem like I am a working out maniac but one after another is just sooo addicting. The cardio dance routines just make me want to dance more!! It is sooo fun. I don't feel like I am getting a great workout but I am having so much fun. Ohhh and I am inputing all my workouts into WOWY. That is addicting in itself!! LOL.
I am having to ice my knees right now, but these stupid knees are not going to keep me from doing cardio. I CANNOT do plyo so that is why I am incorporating the other stuff. My knees only hurt to jump around and to run, They don't hurt doing lunges or kneeling on them. So that is good.
I am going to keep doing the weight training parts of P90x but after the knees feel better I am going to start Week 7 over for real. Modify Modify Modify right? The good paart is that I am not falling off the wagon completely. It would be so easy to say ohhhh my knees are killing me I just won't workout, but I can't do that. I am finally changing my habits for good and I am not quitting ever again!! I don't care how long it takes me to get into the shape I want to be in, but I will get there!! I am determined!!
Oooooh good news also, I signed back up on ModelMayhem.com and I am going to be scheduling model shoots with some local models around here again!! I am pretty excited!! My break will be super fun if I get to do a few shoots. I think I am also going to sign up on a few stock photography sites and do some shooting for that, maybe earn a couple extra pennies!! LOL. I may also be going to a model/photographer meet and greet in the suburbs to network, if I am not busy. :)

Hip Hop Abs...
So I tried this today, and it was pretty fun. Shaun T makes me laugh and I smiled the whole way through. I didn't sweat as much as I would have liked and I don't know how high my heart rate got but it's so fun so I will stick with it as a morale booster!! It definitely makes me laugh at myself. I consider myself to be pretty coordinated but these dance moves are kinda awkward for me. LOL. I was a dancer but not a hip hop dancer. LOL.

Knees...
That one day that I did a longer run was a great day. I felt so proud of myself but yesterday when i went to run again and the first few steps were complete and utter agony. My knees killed like no other. They didn't seem to hurt all week but when i tried to go jogging they killed. Being the proud kind of person I am, I couldn't just quit so I ran anyway through the pain and all. I probably shouldn't have because when I woke up this morning I could hardly walk. Let's just say I am not running again anytime soon. I am going to try to ice them and see what happens. I just hope this is a bump in the road and not the end of my running, I was really looking forward to it.

One Week...
I have one week of school left and I need to crank out these projects. I have to make a 22 page Brand Standards Manual, A campaign of 4 ads for kneaded erasers, a campaign of 3 ads for the Juicy Juice brand that I redesigned, do a web portfolio site, and design and construct new packaging for Folgers. Grrrr...these classes are kicking my ass. Being a senior sucks ass. lol. Anyway I will be so busy the next 4 days that I won't be able to sleep let alone remember to exercise. I will continue Week 7 after I am successfully on break for 2 weeks!! I will concentrate all my efforts on working out and getting into better shape for the whole 2 weeks of my break. I will hopefully do some more running, continue p90x, and start hip hop abs!! I am stoked for break!!
I am not graduating in June but I am graduating in December so I have to walk in June. Our school is on quarters, we go year round, and My parents are coming so that should be great!!!

I just tracked my Beachbody package and ups says that it scanned into Chicago at 2:55am!! I am pretty excited! That means I could be doing a Hip Hop Abs session as early as today!! Watch out!! :) I am actually planning on running tomorrow/today, so we will see if I have time for the dance workout!! I am sure I will try and make time because it seems like it will be tons of fun.

"Cheat Days"...
When I get into a health kick, I can honestly say that I don't have "Cheat Days", unless thrown off by seemingly awesome but just really charming guys. I have always known that cheating can wreak havoc on your progress, but hearing someone else say it puts the fear of god into me!! LOL. I just watched a You Tube video from a Dr, stating that having a "Cheat Day" can negate all progress you have made in a whole week. He said that you should have just a cheat meal if you are going to cheat. Having a whole cheat day is just too risky. You have to burn 500 extra calories per day just to lose one lb in a week, but in a day you can consume enough calories to gain that lb back. It is horrible but it is true. When I have a cheat, it is usually just one or two things that I am craving and I make sure to stay within my calorie range. That way I realize that eating crappy foods means you have to eat way less!! Its psychological. If I eat good foods I can eat way more food for my calorie intake. :) Then there are always the people that eat really healthy but eat too much, it's like they think that because they are eating really healthy foods, they can eat as much of it as they want and then they wonder why they aren't losing and are in some cases gaining weight. Good foods have calories too, people!!
Running Update...
Like I have said, I have started a jog/walk program because I want to be a runner. I have asthma, was a smoker, and have a mind set that I cannot run very well. I have been trying very hard to increase my lung capacity so that I can run for further and for longer periods of time. I started out at Run 1min/Walk 1min and increased up to Run 4min/ Walk 1min for 30 minutes at a time. I thought I was doing fairly well with this, but it proves to be really difficult to start running then walk then start running again. I think the plan has you do this because it is difficult so that when you go to run a full half hour at the end of 8 weeks, it will be a breeze! Ok so on to yesterday, I went out to do my run. I started running and I guess I had a lot on my mind because I immersed myself in my thoughts. The next thing I knew I was feeling great and just kept jogging. The first time i looked at my stopwatch it said 12 minutes!! I was like holy crap. I guess I had magically fallen into a semi comfortable pace and groove, I just wanted to keep running to see how far I could go. It was so excited. I was running just for me, I was clearing my head, and most of all I was feeling incredible!! For the first time ever I had that feeling that I knew running could always give me, but never got. I guess I was never patient enough to keep at it to feel that. I was in control of my run, I was breathing hard and sweating but it wasn't killing me. I didn't want to stop!! I had plans that night so I did stop after 20 minutes of straight jogging!! I have never jogged for 20 minutes straight EVER in my life. It was really one of the most exciting things ever. I just felt an immense amount of pride in what I had done. Now I know I can do it, and if I can do it you can too!! Keep bringing it, folks!! YAY for jogging!!
Oh and I am going to continue to follow the Run/Walk program but also a couple times a week I am just going to do a straight jog to see how far I can go.

GROCERIES!!!
OMG...I love grocery day!! I was coming down to having no food at all!!! I order groceries from Peapod.com because living in the city with no car is hard on grocery shopping. Either you have to pay to take a cab if you buy a lot, or you have to buy little and walk or bus it. Also getting the groceries up to the apartment is a chore. We don't have normal elevators we have ancient ones that the gates slam on you or half the tme they don't work. Carrying groceries up 6 flights of stairs does not sound fun. LOL. ANYWAY I get them delivered and it's awesome!! It's a $9 delivery charge for orders between $50 - $100 and anything over $100 order is $6. It's definitely worth it. I always buy more than $100 because I get groceries once a month. I got some good eats today!! Mmmmm...natural peanut butter, sprouted grain bread, tuna, bottled water, chicken breasts, turkey burgers, romaine lettuce, string cheese, organic fat free plain yogurt, oranges, grapes, tomatoes, sprouted grain tortillas, Egg Beaters egg whites, natural no sugar added applesauce, low sodium V8, Boars Head Deli Meats, veggie burgers, rice cakes, organic spinach/feta pockets for school, fat free cottage cheese, oraganic corn salsa, brown rice, frozen veggies, ooooh and all natural chicken artichoke pizza with a whole wheat crust. mmmmm...
Of course I always have to get myself a treat because if I don't have some low calorie sweet treats I will go out and splurge on something that is probably high fat and super bad. So I try to keep No sugar added fudgesicles on hand. :) I also got some Haagen Dazs Brazilian Acai Berry Sorbet!!! You should all try it. Bon Bon Recipe using this sorbet!! YUM!!

Photo time...
So if you read my blog a lot you will probably notice that I changed my photo. lol. I do that all the time due to the fact that I have photography equipment and a desire to have ever changing photos of me!! I am pretty much addicted to taking photos of myself. I am actualy my most reliable model anyhow so why not!! I took a few the other day and the one I posted on here is pretty much a good representation of who I am, I also take other photos to show different sides to my personality. Taking photos for me can be dress up time, stress reliever time, increase my self-esteem time...i basically take photos to fill the gaps in my life. It is very therapeutic for me and I enjoy it very much!! So without further ado here is another photo I took that is a little out of the ordinary look for myself, but I love it. I am really getting into this jogging thing!! I have stuck with it longer than I have ever stuck with jogging before!! I think because I have started out easy and I jog at night. I usually head down to the running path that is by the lake but the past few nights I haven't gotten out there until after midnight so I run the streets. It's really nice around here at night. I don't like doing it during the day because of all the people, they annoy me. I am still doing P90x, I just am more excited about the cardio stuff!!
I got a conformation that Hip Hop Abs has shipped, I can't wait!! I love to dance so it should be fun fun fun.

New Workout!!
So I need a lot of cardio and decided to get some more tapes so that if I cannot jog then I will have something to do that won't bore me. Today I ordered Hip Hop Abs just to see if its fun. I love to dance and Shaun T. doesn't seem to be all that hard on the eyes so we will see!! I am pretty excited. Fun Fun Fun.

So I jumped on the scale this morning because when I weighed myself for the week yesterday it was in the middle of my day and guess what? I didn't lose 3 lbs, I lost 4!!! Woo Hoo!! Ok I am never stopping cardio ever again. I am in such a better mood now that I started losing some weight. Hopefully I will look great in no time flat!!

A Saturday Night With Christy...

My saturday night was spent at the sporting good store getting new sneakers, and a stop watch for my jogging program. Then at midnight I proceeded to go down to the lake path and do a jogging routine wih my new purchases. It felt great and I am so glad I got new sneakers. I haven't gotten new ones in like 3 or 4 years!! That is not good for your feet by the way!! So don't wait that long!! I used to be a shoe salesperson at a sporting goods store. lol. I am really excited about this jogging program. I started out doing 2 minutes jog 1 min walk but after 20 minutes i changed it back to 1 min jog 1 min walk. I am not a runner by any means but hopefully this program will slowly ease me into running and I will adapt well to it. We shall see. I am not going to give up though. I am going to do the full 8 weeks. (see blog a few below for jogging/walking program)
YAY!!! FINALLY!!
I guess chasing my dog around the park last night paid off because I am down 3 lbs this week!! I have a feeling the lower calories and cardio is taking its toll!! I am not doing low carb anymore either because I never seem to lose weight on low carb!! I once did Atkins and all I got from that was terribly ill. Mu ex husband and I did it for over a month and he lost and I didn't at all. I just felt so sick and gross inside. So maybe my body likes the carbs, good for me though.
Week 6 - Day 1
CHEST, SHOULDERS & TRICEPS / AB RIPPER X
So I was sooo tired after trying to run with my doggy and then losing him and trying to catch him that I didn't know if I would be able to finish this workout (see blog entry before this for my overview of today). Even though I felt crappy, depressed, and tired I still managed to push play. I knew that I wasn't feeling as strong as usual but I pressed through and did my best. I told myself that if I just finished the workout then I would do Ab Ripper in the morning. By the end of the DVD I felt guilty for even thinking that so I pressed through Ab Ripper also.
What I learned today was that no matter what kind of day I am having, I can always finish my workouts if I just believe in myself.
I get a Gold Star for today!!!

Crappy Day
I think I am cursed or something. I had the shittiest day today.
I started working on projects and couldn't concentrate because a person that I care for deeply has stopped talking to me, and by talking I mean telling me stuff about his life and what's going on. He never texts anymore and has ignored my texts. I get the feeling I should just give up. I don't understand how we could (i think) get so close then he just disapears. Oh well. Anyway I was pretty broken up about that all day...
...then a friend of mine who was being a bitch told me she didn't want to be my friend because I told her that she was being a bitch. Go figure. I thought that since we are 26 years old that she could handle the truth. She just proceeded to be a self absorbed asshole and made me feel like crap for nothing!! I really don't need that when I am trying to do school work...
...then I realized that I think I have an infection on my tonsil. It's really huge and covered in white gunky mess. No health insurance is really going to cover that!! SUPER!!
After that I decided I wanted to go jogging and figured maybe my dog would like to go. lol. so we went and we got to the beach and he started chasing something...yanked away from me and his leash broke. yep the cord snapped in half just like that. I waas due for a new one but i hadn't picked one up yet. Anyway...I had to chase him and was scared to death he would run out towards Lake Shore Drive (which is basically a highway). So we couldn't run back we had to walk and I had to drag him by what was left of the leash. Then we were close to getting back when he went running after an animal or something and the leash totally tore up my hand as it went with him. I then had to chase him again, this time a lot longer because he ran far away.
Then I got back and now I have no energy to do Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. I just felt really depressed and wanted to change my mood by working out and all this shit happened. uuugghh. I just wanted to have a good day. :(

Grrrrrrr...
All this extra cardio and reduced calories better jump start my weight loss or I will not be a happy camper!!! Rawwwwwer!!
Week 5 - Day 6&7
Yesterday was something else. LOL. I stayed up almost all night finishing projects and stuff then I went to school for 15 hours...uuugghhh. Senior Year is a biotch!!! Expecially because every class I have this quarter are core classes where its all projects that have to be portfolio quality. So it's one project after another...Identity packets, websites, logos, campaigns, ads and more ads. It's a cool major but it's definitely a time consuming one!!
Anyway long story short I was falling asleep by the time I go home, I tried to workout but I decided it wasn't going to be that effective so I got a good night's sleep and woke up today and did Kenpo X. I still HATE it!!! Ugghh. I don't know why I dislike it so much. I think because the beginning and ending are boring. I like the kicks and they get my heart rate up but the punches and blocks don't. I have a 30 minute Kickboxing workout that kicks my ass more than Kenpo does. I think I might do that tonight. I really want to come home from school tonight and go running. I need to get me a stop watch. Timing on my phone is less than ideal. LOL. I also need to get some more protein powder.I have been out and I have not been getting nearly enough protein. I am not a big meat eater. I like chicken and turkey but thats about it. I am stopping by GNC tonight before I get home and getting both of those before I forget!!!

Week 5 - Day 5
Here we go back on the countdown. I have started the 5th week over for the second time now. I am glad to finally be back on track with this. No more disasters from now til the end. I might even tack on a couple extra weeks at the end just for fun.

LEGS & BACK / AB RIPPER X
It has felt like ages since I have done this workout. I forgot some of the exercises that you do in it. LOL. Overal I have always liked this workout. I still fall over during the lunges with your foot up on the chair...uuugghhh. I don't think I have bad balance but I seem to have problems with that exercise.
I am starting to use my chin up bar now that Dave fixed it all up for me!! :) I can't do chin ups or pull ups or anything of the sort but I do use the chair and it seems to be working pretty well. We will see. I would love to be able to do pull ups on my own!! Hopefully someday. Maybe my next round or maybe when I do P90x+. :)
I have been using Fit Day to track my food intake and I have no problems staying in my calorie range but I need more protein and more vegetables!!! FOR SURE!! Ugghhh I always forget about vegetables. I ran out of protein powder and its amazing to see how little protein I get when I don't have it!!! I love being able to calculate all this stuff, it really puts everything into perspective and just makes you more aware of what you are putting into your body.

Cardio Makes Me Feel Super!!
I was supposed to do Yoga today and I was feeling a little too fat for Yoga today. I really wanted more of a cardio workout so I put in my Jillian Michaels Cardio Kickbox workout and let me tell you...I forgot what a cardio workout that is. Yeah it isn't an hour long like P90x vids but it is non-stop moving and is just a good cardio workout. I was sweating and breathing harder than I have in most P90x workouts.
I really hate doing cardio but it makes me feel soooo good!!
Super Duper!! Since I need to get rid of more fat, I need it!!

Feel Sooooo Much Better!!!
Working out just makes me feel good!!! I am going to be less worried about how long it takes me to finish P90x and more interested in getting my body to where I want it. I think focusing on others progress and comparing it to my own is very detrimental to my success. I feel like I should be at a different level than I am, and if I am not where I think I should be then I end up quitting.
Being thrown off the P90x wagon for 2 weeks did a number on my self-esteem and my mood. I felt pretty much worthless and like I was a huge failure. Now that I am back on track I see people that started after me doing better than me and it totally wrecks me. I know if I didn't succumb to the pressure to fall off the wagon then I would probably be in a lot better shape right now and I wouldn't feel like total crap.
But I did fall off the wagon and now I just have to deal withit, get back on, and pick up the slack. I am going to eat the way that I know works for me because the p90x food thing has not been working. I don't know what it is but I just don't feel like I have any energy, maybe lack of carbs. I nomally eat really healthy so I am just going to follow my own plan that I know works for me. I am also starting a running plan. I have always wanted to run and never thought I could. I think it is because I want to be able to just go out the first time and run a few miles. Now that I know that isn't doable and will actually turn me off to running, I have downloaded a running plan off a running website. It gets you ready to run for a full 30 minutes in a couple months. It is really what I need because if I can ease myself into it gradually and become good at it then I will definitely stick with it. It is one of the cheapest workouts ever and you can do it anywhere, all you need is shoes. :)
I have also been looking into some upcoming races and even training sessions for the upcoming Chicago Marathon and Half-Marathon...we will see how ambitious I get.
So I just did my
BACK & BICEPS / AB RIPPER X
workout and tomorrow I will be starting my easy Run/Walk program to get me ready to run a 5K in 2 months time. From the couch to a 5K!! YAY!! I will keep you updated on how I do.

Just a confused rant, you don't have to read it...
sometimes I think i know about the things that are going on in my life, and sometimes i am just really confused. i HATE being confused about things. i like to know exactly what is going on and what's going to be going on especially if its something important to me. i just feel like my life is hanging in the balance and i am just waiting for something to happen. i just constantly feel like im waiting for good stuff to finally happen. after going through so much bad stuff i feel like this universe owes me some friggin happiness. i know that i need to make things happen in my life but i can only do so much then the rest is dependent upon other factors that i cannot control. i just have been so shaky and feel like i have been waiting for my life to happen for so long.
sometimes i feel like i cannot keep waiting or keep surrounding myself with people that don't give me answers, don't supply me with the things i need, and people who just keep me in the waiting/confused state. i don't know. maybe i just want to know what's going to happen so that if something isn't going to work then i can have a backup plan and not just be blindsided...like i usually am. i want more control but i don't get it.

2nd Day of Week 5 Redo
Ok so I thought after I came back from being on and mostly off for 2 weeks that I would be really rusty...well I am not that bad. Granted I am a little more soft and flabby but I actually felt rested and like I had more energy than when i did when I was pushing it doing P90x everyday. Who knows what that means. LOL. Hopefully it doesn't mean I will be more inclined to fall off the wagon again.
Anyway. I am really glad to be getting back on track, and to all my You Tube peeps I haven't forgot about ya...I will make a update after this first week back. :)

Ummmmm...I lied... I am back for good NOW!!!
Jeeeeez!!!! I have been derailed for WAY too long!!! I got back on track then I got clotheslined off the wagon again. It's amazing how when the one person that motivates you the most cannot do the workouts it makes you fall off that much easier. It just kinda makes you feel like its ok to not be so strict on the program because they are on a hiatus and they still look great. LOL. Oh well. NO MORE OF THIS BS!!! I am back on track.
I had a great couple of weekends though. Having a friend in town is just a mood booster even though we didn't eat and workout like we should have.

I AM BACK ON TRACK!!!
I started Week 5 over today!!! I have been eating like crap and not doing my workouts the way I should so Week 5 here I come again!! I didn't want to miss any of these newer workouts so I wanted to redo this week.

Week 5 - Day 5
I am sucking on this week so badly, I may just redo it. I am not doing as badly as I may think but I just feel so out of it. Grrrrrr...I think it may have a lot to do with other people's motivation as well. On You Tube there are a lot of slackers lately and everyone seems to have an excuse for skipping workouts so I have been less than motivated. I think I am going to wean myself off of You Tube a little bit because of it. I just don't feel as motivated on there as I used to be. I need to start doing this for myself and trying to gather motivation from within instead of from others that are unreliable. Sometimes I just don't see the point of trying to motivate everyone when I am not feeling motivated. Blahhh. I am not into trying to gain popularity on there, all I want is to want to workout. All I want is to get into shape and have it be as painless as possible.
Just my thoughts for this morning.

Week 5 - Day 4
i have sucked this week...at the blog and at working out. I can't believe it. I have this great thing going on tomorrow and I soooo could have benn looking better than this. I really have no excuses, I just haven't been feeling well. I skipped out on Yoga today and did Cardio instead. Oh well. I was having a fat day and thought it would be more beneficial to how I was feeling.

This workout rocked!! I loved it. There was a lot of bicep exercises for sure. I think my biceps and shoulders are my fave muscles to workout!! I didn't want to workout but I just did it and I felt good!! Woo Hoo.

Day 31
Week 5 - Day Skip
I haven't boarded the bus on the give up train yet but my motivation has started going downhill again. I have no idea why this happens. Grrrrr...I was in a sucky mood for a week then I turned it all around for a week and rocked it, now I am back on the moodiness. I guess because I have images of what I want to look like and what state of health I want to be in and I am definitely not close yet. I know as long as I don't give up I can get there but with my attitude being where it is, I don't know. It is 2:50 am and I haven't done my workout yet. I ate like shit today and felt it!!! I had more carbs than usual and I was dead tired all day. I wanted to workout when I had energy but that energy never came. I think I am just going to double up tomorrow to get caught up then NO more mess ups. I think its because I only have 3 days until I wanted to look at least a little better and yeah I don't see much difference. I think I am just a little disheartened and not motivated because of it...kinda like what has working out and eating right got me lately??? But on the flip side the more I mess up, the less results I will see. Of course I am way harder on myself than need be. We all slip up and my slip ups aren't even all that bad. I just need to get in control of my emotions and thoughts. LOL. Oh well. I know it will get better and I will start feeling good about myself in no time.

Week 5 - Day 2
PLYOMETRICS
I love this workout but this week I just seem to be losing motivation again. I think it is because I have been feeling bad health wise. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that I am not sleeping all that well or all that much. lol. Also my stomach seems to be reacting negatively to protein bars. I have been getting insane stomach pains after eating them so I guess I am going to stop all that. I have been finding it hard to eat much at all beacause of the pains. My workouts don't suffer that much but my body probably is. I still workout at high intensity so thats a plus. I am supposed to take Day 30 pics but I feel bloated today maybe tomorrow will be a better day for that. We will see. I still think I am just going to forego showing photos until the end.

Week 5 - Day 1
CHEST, SHOULDERS & TRICEPS / AB RIPPER X
What a cool workout!! love it!! I still can't believe that there are more styles of pushups we haven't done!! I suck at pushups but hopefully I will only get better. I feel like I lost a lot of strength during the recovery week. Some of the tricep exercises, I felt like I was doing for the very first time...uuuugghh. oh well. we will see what happens. I did do a lot better at Ab Ripper yet again so my abs gained some more strength which I am happy for the most!! Who doesn't want some ripped abs?? I know I do!! I can't wait!! MORE CARDIO!! I missed my extra cardio session this morning so I will do Cardio X when I wake up and then Plyo at night.
Here we go!! Week 5 is in the works!!

Day 28
Week 4 - Day 7
Last day of my recovery week!! Tomorrow I start new weight training workouts!!! YEAH!!! I am excited!! Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps!! My fave muscles!!
Anyway I know I said that my muscle gaining and fat losing has caught up to itself well like I said I have only lost 3 lbs as it shows on the scale, but I have lost almost 2 inches off my waist and 1 inch off my hips so I am incredibly happy about that!! It hasn't even been a month yet so I need not worry about that stuff after my body gets on a roll I am sure the fat will just come off in no time!!
Here is a pic of how my upper ab muscles are shaping up, I am pretty excited even though you can see them due to the lighting. LOL. I just need to lose the buffer over them so you can see them better!! Overall I am very happy where this is heading!! You can kinda see some lats coming in too!! I still have like 8 weeks to go!! Let's do this!!

I only slept for 2 hours wednesday night then I had school from 8am - 8pm yesterday. By the time I got home I was dragging and did not want to suck on Yoga so I decided to flip the Stretch/Rest day with my Yoga day. I tried to do the Cardio X video but I fell out and decided to get some sleep instead!!!
I also cheated a little...ooooooh don't tell anyone.
HAHAHA
I felt ok about it because I didn't go over my calories for the day, not by a long shot. I did have 1 scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream from Baskin Robbins because it was 31¢ scoop day!!! YAY!! 1 scoop of any ice cream for 31¢!! My friends and I are poor college students so it was rockin'!! Anyway, that was my cheat. I have been doing completely awesome otherwise!! Oh and just to let everyone know the weight loss has finally started. I know I have been a muscle gaining machine but the muscle gaining and fat losing has caught up to itself!! Woo Hoo.

YAY!! I love this workout!!! It rocks and I was finally able to do a few Dreya Rolls!!! WOO HOO!! I couldn't do any the first day!! I had a pretty relaxing day! I have to get caught up on some homework but other than that this week has been going good!!
Main Motivation?? 1 Week and 3 Days!!! I cannot wait!! I have something fun and exciting going on!! It will rock my socks!!

I was going to go running this morning but it was super cold and downpouring!! I am getting ready to do the Cardio X video instead for fun. I am supposed to be doing the X-Stretch video for my workout, and I will do that tonight after school. I just wanted to get in some cardio today also.
I hope all my P90x buddies are Bringin' It today!! I know I am.

Day 24
Week 4 - Day 3
KENPO X
Ok so my abs, back, and legs are screaming for some TLC today, but no such luck...lol. I had Kenpo today. It is a good workout and I sweat a lot, but I just don't like it at all. My motivation to do it is because it is cardio and I need cardio. Oh well. Anyway...this program is sooooo well planned out!! It amazes me. I am sitting here thinking "man do my legs and back need some stretching" and I checked my schedule...tomorrow I have X-Stretch!! Couldn't have come at a better time!!! Woo Hoo. I am sure that is done on purpose because after doing a brand new workout you are going to be sore and the second day is most likely going to be the worst so there it is!!! Niiiiice. So X-Stretch tomorrow then I get to do Core Synergistics AGAIN!!! YAY!!! I am loving the recovery week!!
So on the diet, today I sucked sooo badly. I didn't count calories or keep track of what I was eating all day. Right after my workout I was feeling a little blah and thought maybe I should have the recovery drink even though I decided not to use it. Before I did that though I wanted to make sure I was within calorie range. I calculated all my calories and come to find out I had consumed 900 calories today...NOT GOOD!!! Not good at all, so I decided I did need some mre cals and shook up a recovery drink for myself. I wasn't hungry that much today, but I still need to work on eating more. I don't have a very good relationship with food so eating isn't my fave thing to do when I am trying to get in shape. Oh well. I am going to make up a plan and try to stick with it. What I eat and when I am supposed to eat it so I don't have excuses. We shall see. I have done that before, but still fell by the wayside.

Week 4 - Day 2
CORE SYNERGISTICS
Ok so today I was sooo excited to do this workout!!! I was stoked!! I did it and I LOVED it!! I think I have found another one of my soon to be favorite workouts!!! By the end of it I was dead to the world!!! On the last exercise in the "bonus round" I was barely lifting my legs but I finished as strong as I could, and for the first time in a couple weeks I was stoked to workout again!!!! WOO HOO!!! Anyone that has been following my vids on You Tube knows that I have had a rough week or two with actually being excited about this program, well no need to worry anymore!!! I just got fired up again!! Thanks to Core!! SUPERMAN!! BANANA!! SUPERMAN!!! BANANA!! :) I suck at some of those pushups and I can't do a Dreya roll to save my life but ehhhh I will get there, gotta start somewhere. I have finally let down my stupid pride and have realized that I don't need to be perfect at everything the first go round!! This program is not only kicking my @$$ into shape, it is teaching me more and more about myself everyday!! It is showing me my strengths, and uncovering my weaknesses that I sooo desperately try to hide. No more!! I am not perfect, I will mess up and I will fail at something, and that is OK!! I am more happy than I have ever been in my entire life. I thank every one of my You Tube buddies, P90x, and a special someone that knows who he is!! YAY!! Life Rocks!!
I have also decided that I am going to try to start running. I have always wanted to be good at running, but I suck at it. I have always been too proud to just do it. I thought that about Yoga but I stuck with it and now I am doing so well and actually love it!! If I can do that with Yoga then I am sure I can do it with running so I am going to try running as my next endeavour!! I live in Lakeview in Chicago and I am about a block from the lake itself. There is a beautiful path that runs around the lake to go running on and I have only utilized this path once!! That one time I ran from my place to the Beach and it was amazing. I had been smoking for a little bit since then and I am a little worried about my lung capacity but I want to do this so I will!! I am taking a tip from a friend who runs, and am going to start out slow. I will probably start out alternating run/walk for a mile or so and slowly work up to running full miles!!

Took today off for personal reasons, was in a lot of pain. I am just going to start this week tomorrow with Yoga. I just got into Yoga, and started liking it so I am definitely not going to skip it!! I will either do Yoga in the morning and Core in the afternoon...or I will do Yoga tomorrow and Core on Sunday. We will see.

Week 3 - Day 7
WOW. I have made it a full 3 weeks...hard to believe. I am ready to go into my recovery week. I am excited for a different workout (core synergistics). I am sad that the heavier lifting is going to be on the back burner but I am sure the program knows better than I do how to get results!! :) I am really excited for the new lifting workouts in week 5-7!!! woot woot!! I guess that is about it. Keepin' it short and sweet today. I know I didn't eat enough today, but I will definitely try better tomorrow. I was a little moody and out of sorts today. oh well it happens to the best of us.
I have also been looking through more posts on you tube and found some great people doing Vegan Raw, and I might check that out. I am all about trying to get healthy for life now. No more trashing my body, because it does nothing for me. I am getting older and I am not gettting any younger. I should want to preserve my health, not make it deteriorate faster.

Week 3 - Day 6
WOW, It has been 20 days already??? jeeeez!!! I don't really have much to say today. It was an alright day, could have been better but could have been worse. I didn't eat all that well. I had most of my calories in one meal and didn't keep my energy up for the day. I was super busy with school and didn't take snacks with me. I counted on coming home for my break and it ended up that I couldn't because I had to get a project done. Grrrr...oh well. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. So instead of having my own snacks and meals, I had to go out for lunch. I had a Vegetarian sandwich, but I am sure it was too many calories and too many carbs though I didn't eat much else for the day, so I know i was within calorie range its just that I don't like to eat so many calories at once because my energy just crashes. It was a great sandwich though...avocado, sprouts, cucumbers, tomatos, and provolone cheese...mmmmmmm.
So like I said I got home and CRASHED and now it is 2 am and i still have to do Kenpo, but at least I got rest for it. I was planning on taking a short nap and then doing it at 9...ummm yeah I slept through 9 o'clock!! LOL.

I don't know what has gotten into me lately. I just feel so down. I feel like I have been having a "fat" week!!! Grrrrr...I have been doing all my workouts the way I should be. I have even been doing extra, and I feel worse than when I wasn't exercising in terms of how I feel about my body. I just don't understand. Maybe I thought I would get results faster. I don't know. I see other people doing the same workout program and they are cheating here and cheating there, but they get results and are all happy. It sucks because I don't cheat on anything. I eat the way I am supposed to, I do all the workouts, and I sit here and watch them get results!! It pisses me off!!
I am not saying that I don't see changes, I do. I am a lot stronger and my muscles are getting bigger....uuugghh but I have never had a problem gaining muscle, its the losing fat part that I suck at!!! I have been adding extra cardio and I have been eating a low carb diet, what the hell else can I do??? I know I need more patience, but it just sucks to feel so bad about myself when I am doing great things. I think this is one of the reasons I don't stick to programs. I won't quit here though. I am determined to keep going, I am just in a funk.

I know I need more patience, but it just sucks to feel so bad about myself when I am doing great things. I think this is one of the reasons I don't stick to programs. I won't quit here though. I am determined to keep going, I am just in a funk.

Week 3 - Day 3
CARDIO X
I just started incorporating this into my workouts. On days that I do weight training I will do cardio in the morning. This workout was pretty good, I didn't like the friggin' Sun Salutation Yoga things for 20 minutes at the beginning, but the rest was alright. Repetitive from previous videos but still more fun. I LOVED the superman banana things!!! AWESOME!!

Week 3 - Day 2
PLYOMETRICS
It is about that time where it is getting harder to motivate myself to do these workouts. I am the kind of person that gets bored very easily. Thank god this is the last week of the same ole same ole routine. Moving onward to the recovery week next week!!! I am glad for that.
That was all that I was thinking about today.
Workout was fine. I just don't like in Plyo how Tony does like half the workout then tries to show up all the guys in the exercises. Yeah I know he's trying to push them but he does it in such a condecending and egotistical way. Grrrrrrr...in the middle of the workout I found myself being like "Ok boys whip em out, lets have a dick measuring contest!!!"

I hear someone coughing out on my fire escape and I can't help but to be super excited that I quit smoking. It didn't really hit me until today that it was a big thing to do. Most people think that it is sooooo hard to quit. No, it is only hard to quit when you don't want to. To me, the pros outweigh the cons by about a trillion!!! I just said that as soon as I started working out and trying to get in the best shape on my life, drinking and smoking would no longer fit into my lifestyle and I just quit. I even have a half full pack of cigarettes laying on my table, they were the last pack I bought like 3 weeks ago. I am not tempted to smoke them because I don't want them or need them. When people realize that point where they actually want to quit, they can just set the cigarette down that they are smoking and say "I am done, no more."

Not Much to report today. The workout went fine. I improved on my pushups and I think on most of them I am ready to get up off my knees and start doing them the real way even if I can't do a lot of reps. I can do almost 30 standard pushups on my knees so yeah I should not focus on how many reps so much as improving and doing REAL pushups and not girlie ones. HAHAHAHA.
Thats about all I have for you all today.

Day 14
Week 2 - Day 7
Woot Woot 2 weeks are over with!!
I got on the scale this morning and was shown that I am 2 lbs heavier. Uggggghhh, that didn't brighten my day one bit, but I also took my measurements and I am down 1/2 an inch on my waist and a 1/2 inch on my hips!!! Woo Hoo!! So it is working. LOL. I also GAINED a 1/2 in on my bicep so I think I know where those 2 lbs came from.
Yeah yeah yeah, I know muscle weighs more than fat, but that still doens't mean that it isn't discouraging to see your weight go up. LOL.
Anyway I was dog tired yesterday and switched my rest day and Kenpo. School was kicking my ass!!! Everything is due on the same days and its been tough keeping up with the load this quarter. It is helping my time management skills though. I am going to do Kenpo today since I rested yesterday, I thought that probably wouldn't matter so much. I am looking forward to my 3rd week and then the 4th week everything changes!!! Woot Woot looking forward to recovery week 4 and then a change up of the videos for weeks 5-7!! Fun Stuff!!

What can I say about todays workout??? Hmmmm...I was over tired, couldn't do the exercises fluidly (like I did the first time I did this video), and I just fellt like I was waiting for the video to be over the whole time. Today just sucked. I am going to try and make a point to come home from school and workout straight away instead of waiting, because I just keep procrastinating until it is 2am. Yes, I get the workouts done, but I could have done so much better.
Oh Well...tomorrow is a new day!!

Day 11
Week 2 - Day 4

Ok so I admit it, I didn't give Yoga a fair shot. I started Yoga the first week and after about 500 downwards dogs and the same sun salutations over and over again, I got bored and turned it off...well today I did the whole video and found out that the sun slautations are only a small part of it!!! After that it goes on to do poses, WHICH I LOVED!!! Even after that you do ab poses, which I LOVED, and then more stretching!!! It was awesome!! As long as I get through the first 40 min sun things then I can get to do the fun stuff!!!! YAY!!! I am a lot more excited about doing it now, because I rock the second half!!! I was actually realy good at the Sun thing today, they are just so repetitive and boring. Oh well!!

Day 10
Week 2 - Day 3
SHOULDERS & ARMS / AB RIPPER X
I can't believe that it has already been ten days!!! I remember when I was sitting here waiting for P90x to come and the days didn't go by fast enough, now they are flying by!!!
I feel like I have made great improvements with the videos even though I am only on the second time doing most of them except Ab Ripper. I remember when I did a couple of the videos and thought to myself that I would never be able to keep up with the gang but now I can. It is really amazing how much strength you gain in such a short period of time on this program. I cannot wait to see where I am at Day 90!! I also can't wait to see what P90x+ is going to do to my body after P90x is over!!! It is so exciting for me to make a commitment to something and actually stick with it!!
Ok as for my workout today, I need to get heavier weights because I am definitely getting stronger and I am not very excited about manipulating the bands. In case I need to travel I will keep the bands for that but I like to have free weights for the exercises. One of the major changes I saw in doing the Shoulders & Arms video is at the end where we do Side, Tri, Rise...I could do maybe 2 and 4 if I pushed super hard the first time around, but this week I did 11 on one side and 12 on the other!!! I was so proud!! I thought that was ridiculous since I had only done this video once before. It just shows you how all your muscles work together to make you stronger and not just the ones you are working that particular day.
The first time doing Ab Ripper X I could barely do any of the exercises well, and today I did all of them!!! I needed to rest on some of the more difficult ones but I probably did 300 out of the 330-some reps there are!!! I am extremely happy with my strength gains, I can't wait to see my visible gains soon!!!

I really like the frog squats...LOL. I still keep up with them fairly well, I don't need to take any extra breaks so that is good. I feel like I am doing very well with this video, I think because it's so much like another workout I used to do. Jillian Michaels - the biggest winner videos incorporate jump training too. Good Stuff. Anyways I don't have much to say about today. I was pretty lazy besides the Plyo video, and I ate too many carbs but other than that I doing well.

I started Week 2 today!!! Heck Yeah!! I am pumped!! I know I didn't eat as much as I should have today because I was a little tired by the time my workut rolled around. I may try to start doing the videos in the morning. We shall see.

It was what it was. Not as exciting as the first day because you know what to expect now. I noticed that my arms are a little stronger and I need to go get some heavier weights!! Woot Woot!!! Rock on with my bad self!! As for the ab ripper, I am doing a hell of a lot better!! I am pretty danged proud of myself!!

Day 6
So my eating has been pretty good. I have eaten nothing but great foods. I am still not eating the amount of calories that the program calls for, but I am going to try. I definitely feel like I could use a little more energy. I also have to get in the habit of calculating the kinds of foods I am eating...aka carbs, veggies, fruits...etc. I am sticking to what I need to pretty well but I think I just need to record it to be sure.
So todays workout is:

I loved this workout even though I did it kinda late tonight...errrr...kinda early. LOL. Whatever, you get it. It was super fun!! I love the kicks because I am super good at them. Everyday on this program, I feel stronger and stronger!!! It is amazing how good it makes you feel. This program has completely changed my idea of the perfect kind of workout week. This method really works. I can feel that my muscles are already getting toned and developed just from doing it for a week!!! Just WOW!! I am so happy.
I also know I will stick with it because I have Dave to kick my ass as I go!! What a sweetheart!! He definitely motivates me to do my best everyday, even on days when I don't want to workout he is there. I can't wait to repeat this all over again next week!! Hopefully without the extreme soreness!!!
Tomorrow is my "rest" day where I am doing the video labeled "Stretch X". We will see how much a "rest" it is.

Day 5
YOGA X
I woke up this morning and decided to try the Yoga that I had missed yesterday because of resting my poor swollen legs. My legs felt a lot better today. I iced them on and off all night and kept them up. I made sure I got my protein, took my fish oil, and vitamins, so I think I did something right.
Anyway I tried the Yoga and I have realized that I am a very impatient person!! I would keep losing my form because I was looking up to see what Tony was doing. HAHA. I could do the Yoga but it just bored me because we kept doing the same thigs over and over. I need to just get over that because I know how good Yoga is for you. It's just bad because not only is the workout an HOUR AND A HALF it is also boring to me. I love the workout because it is definitely challenging so I will just have to give it a better go next time!!
Later on tonight after school I will be catching up on my...will let you all know how that goes...
My eating is going very well...of course I have eaten off my strict menu, but I have not eaten anything that was unhealthy or overprocessed. I am very good at sticking by eating programs and exercise programs, it is usually just the length of time that I stick with it that is bad. I am always gung ho for awhile but I usually run out of steam a month into a program, and get bored. I like P90x because at about the time that I would normally get really bored, the program changes...plus I have my SUPER DUPER AWESOME You Tube support group that will keep me pushing hard til the end!! I will succeed this time around!!

WOW!!! Loved this workout!!! Sooo much fun!! I loved all the variations of everything. This workout never lets you get bored!! Groucho Walks, 3 different angles of Calf Raises (cool!!), The 3 angled Lunges!! Just WOW. I was impressed!! Can't wait until I get to do it again next week!!! Oh and of course I keep getting better and better at Ab Ripper!! I have finally thrown my ego away and just do as many reps as I can!! I will catch up to them someday, but I don't want to kill myself again so I am just doing it to my capacity then stopping. This will be WAY more effective than hurting myself for the sake of saying that I did the same amount of reps as Tony Horton!! LOL.
I guess thats it kids, tomorrow is Kenpo X!! I have heard a lot of good stuff about this one!! Can't wait!!

Day 4
First day back at school for a brand new quarter!!! I am vowing not to get sick or have a major life crisis this quarter!!! For the past 3 or 4 quarters something has always went down, like getting MRSA, getting divorced, severe depression...and the list goes on. This quarter I am going to get healthy and get into shape and have just a normal school quarter. I am going to try to be as focused as I can be and do everything to the best of my abilities instead of just doing enough to get an "A".
So onto my fitness and nutrition adventure. Well today on my break I realized I left for school in a hurry and didn't pack anything to eat...grrrrr, so I ran over to GNC to pick up some protein bars to get me through the day. I also picked up some fish oil gels, and a Woman's Active Vitamin!!! It is funny how these are the things I get excited about lately!! I recommend fish oil to anyone that is trying to get healthy and fit!! It is a natural supplement and since I hate eating fish it's a good way to get the omega 3's that are in fish oil!! It can help to improve heart health and also has an anti-inflammatory effect. That would be helpful because my muscles are definitely INFLAMED!! HAHAHA.
After I leave here at around 7-8pm, I am heading home to walk baby Chase (see photo at right) and do some Yoga X!!! Woo Hoo!!! Watch out now!! I just hope this soreness goes down, or I might have to go grab some Tiger Balm from GNC!!!

I went with the advice of a veteran P90x-er and took the day off. My legs were swollen and I was extremely sore. I knew I was doing Yoga but the next day was going to be Legs and Back and my legs definitely were over-trained, and needed a rest so I sucked it up and rested.

I am the sorest I have ever been in my life. I can't even move. It hurts in my abs to even breathe. I can hardly walk. I don't know how I am going to finish my workouts today. Push through the discomfort, I guess. LOL.

If I layed down I would need to roll on my side to try and get up, sometimes I had to hold a pillow to my chest to squeeze to try and get up (takes pressure off)...I walked down the stairs today and almost fell down them because my legs just wanted to give out, so I didn't have much expectations for todays workout. The workouts are definitely setup in a great order though because my legs hurt the most today from plyo yesterday and today was shoulders and arms. My arms were still sore from Chest and Back - doing pushups- but not so bad.
My accomplishment through this workout would definitely have to be the Side, Tri, and Rise at the end of the workout...the first set through I did maybe 1 and thought that I just couldn't do it yet because I wasn't strong enough. The second set through I watched Tony carefully, focused my mind, concentrated, and pushed it out as hard as I could!!! Mind over matter baby!! I did 4!!! I was so excited!! Now I know that if I just put my mind to something, my body can do it!! It's not a matter of saying "I can't do that", it's a matter of saying "I will try and do my best", and guess what instead of not being able to do it with a negative attitude, your attitude will be positive and you WILL do it!!! So the Shoulders and Arms workout was pretty cool!!! Tony is pretty funny. He says some corny shit, but its still motivating!! He will say "oooooh now that's magical" or "come on say it with me, WOW!!! what is wow upside down? MOM!!" HAHAHA. Oh lord!!!
Anyway, as we moved through the arm workout I was dreading Ab Ripper X right after because I did so bad on it the first day right after working out my arms. As we got to Ab Ripper, even though my stomach was totally sore, I was able to do 100% better than the first day!!! WHY??? I have no idea!!! Who cares why though, I did all of the exercises!! I set a goal and achieved it!! I was soooo happy with myself!! I had been dying all day just walking around my place, but when I turned on my workouts something inside me just forgot about the pain and just did it!!! I am thouroughly happy with that!!! Woot Woot!!
HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY: Chatting with Dave aka FatAssChallenge - It is nice to know that others are out there rooting for you, and supporting you through something you want to accomplish!!! Thanks Dave, you make me want to finish this for myself!! Big Hugs!!

Day 2
PLYOMETRICS
This is said to be the mother of all workouts!! Let me tell you, I was skeptical. I have been put through some tough workouts, but they are right, this is a BEAST!!! You are jumping around, doing squats, and lunges for an hour. It is a great cardio workout, and a great overall workout. Jump training can be hard on the knees but if you learn how to land softer, and control your movements, you get the best out of it!! This is one of the workouts that I cannot wait to master!! I love the swing kicks, and absolutely hate the rock and roll guitar jumps. LOL. Everyday I will get better and better, I know. I am just happy that I finished the whole thing.
I have never hurt so much in my life and been so happy about it. I swear that it even hurts in my abs to breathe. HAHA. It is definitely a productive kind of hurt!! I love this feeling because I know that it is hurting because I am getting healthy and in shape!!
Tomorrow is Shoulders and Arms / Ab Ripper X

Day 1
I am tired!!! I feel great. I am sore in places I never knew existed on my body!! I can hardly move, but I still have a smile on my face!! I am hopeful and all the subscribers on You Tube are behind me!!! I think that with that kind of motivation, and having to be accountable will prove to make me succeed and try even harder to do this thing the right way!!

Day 0 - The Decision

P90x is a 90 day intense workout regimen with nutritional guides and the whole nine!! There are 12 different workouts to get you through a 90 days period. This program has been tested and proven to work fantastically by many people!!
I decided to do P90x because I found such a great following on You Tube!! Everyone is so committed and so motivated that it will make these 90 days fly by!! Everyone that I have seen on You Tube have had amazing results!!! I wouldn't just buy the P90x system without some sort of proof. The proof came in the form of some of the most amazing individuals I have ever known. These highly motivated people got on You Tube and started making videos to show their progress. It seems simple enough, and it became addicting fast!!! I had made 3 videos before my P90x ever came in the mail!! I was sooo excited to start because everyone seemed to be loving it and were so far ahead of me. I just wanted to catch up!!! I wanted to show my progress and have people motivate me and cheer me on just they were for the ones who had already started.

I totally believe that P90x will change me and my body. I think that after 90 days I will be in the best shape of my life and I will owe all of it to my subscribers/friends on You Tube. It is easy to start a fitness program, it is NOT however easy to stay on it. Everyone needs motivation and You Tube is the place to get it. The community there has surpassed all expectations I have ever had. They are wonderful and we get each other through the hardspots. These workouts are NO joke. They are seriosuly some tough tough workouts, and staying motivated will be the key to sticking with it! I have always loved to workout and try new programs, but I actually want to finish one!!! I would start them and see results right away but after awhile I just lost motivation because I wasn't noticing as much of a change, or I was bored. Well on You Tube it is never boring. Someone always has an encouraging word, or a new funny video posted that will keep you smiling and keep you stoked!!!
I love it.
