Day 4

First day back at school for a brand new quarter!!! I am vowing not to get sick or have a major life crisis this quarter!!! For the past 3 or 4 quarters something has always went down, like getting MRSA, getting divorced, severe depression...and the list goes on. This quarter I am going to get healthy and get into shape and have just a normal school quarter. I am going to try to be as focused as I can be and do everything to the best of my abilities instead of just doing enough to get an "A".

So onto my fitness and nutrition adventure. Well today on my break I realized I left for school in a hurry and didn't pack anything to eat...grrrrr, so I ran over to GNC to pick up some protein bars to get me through the day. I also picked up some fish oil gels, and a Woman's Active Vitamin!!! It is funny how these are the things I get excited about lately!! I recommend fish oil to anyone that is trying to get healthy and fit!! It is a natural supplement and since I hate eating fish it's a good way to get the omega 3's that are in fish oil!! It can help to improve heart health and also has an anti-inflammatory effect. That would be helpful because my muscles are definitely INFLAMED!! HAHAHA.

After I leave here at around 7-8pm, I am heading home to walk baby Chase (see photo at right) and do some Yoga X!!! Woo Hoo!!! Watch out now!! I just hope this soreness goes down, or I might have to go grab some Tiger Balm from GNC!!!

I went with the advice of a veteran P90x-er and took the day off. My legs were swollen and I was extremely sore. I knew I was doing Yoga but the next day was going to be Legs and Back and my legs definitely were over-trained, and needed a rest so I sucked it up and rested.
